These rugs are crafted by repurposing old fabrics, cutting them into narrow strips, and hand-dyeing them with durable cotton dyes. This meticulous process imparts a painterly appearance to the rugs. Burlap, often sourced from recycled food sacks, serves as the foundational material. A specialized needle with a hook is inserted from the top of the rug, drawing the fabric to the surface. This technique is commonly referred to as "drawn-in rugs." The rugs in our Camp Collection are meticulously created using the same method, one loop at a time. In our commitment to sustainability, we prioritize the use of environmentally friendly recycled fabrics whenever possible. These rugs feature a captivating chocolate brown background adorned with an array of vibrant colors, forming intricate circles throughout the field.
